2026 National Black Breast Cancer Summit Returns to Houston

09.15.2026 Press Releases

Sisters Network® Inc., the nation’s leading Black breast cancer survivorship organization, will bring survivors, healthcare leaders, advocates and community members from across the country to Houston for the 2026 National Black Breast Cancer Summit, Oct. 2–4 at the Hyatt Regency Galleria, 2626 Sage Road. Registration is free at blackbreastcancersummit.org, and more than 400 women are expected to attend.

Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Summit is Sisters Network signature national conference, dedicated to advancing breast health equity and improving outcomes for Black women. The three-day gathering blends expert-led breast health education, survivor-centered conversations, wellness experiences, advocacy and opportunities to connect with resources and one another.

“Black women deserve more than awareness. We deserve access to information, quality care, resources and spaces where our experiences are at the center of the conversation,” said Karen Eubanks Jackson, founder and CEO of Sisters Network® Inc. “For over three decades, Sisters Network has worked to ensure Black women are seen, heard and supported throughout the breast cancer journey. Our National Black Breast Cancer Summit brings that mission to life.”

The Summit kicks off Friday, October 2, with the new, complimentary SIS Wellness Experience & Oasis. From noon to 5 p.m., attendees can enjoy the SIS Sanctuary, a luxury retreat-style wellness space, and the Healing & Restoration Suite, featuring chair massages, a quiet room and a hydration bar. The experience also includes beauty and confidence activities, wellness refreshments, health screenings and breast self-check demonstrations.

Saturday, October 3, brings a full day of educational programming and the signature Pretty in Pink Luncheon, presented by Novartis, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Galleria. The luncheon brings a touch of daytime television to the conversation, with a special panel featuring stars of CBS’s Beyond the Gates: Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree), Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree) and Arielle Prepetit (Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne), all three 2026 Daytime Emmy nominees for their work on the series. Tickets are $100; a portion of proceeds benefits Sisters Network’s Karen E. Jackson Breast Cancer Assistance Program, which provides financial assistance to women facing breast cancer and free 3D mammograms for underserved women.

The weekend closes Sunday, October 4, with a Gospel Brunch and Celebration of Life, a morning centered on faith, remembrance, survivorship and hope. The 2026 Summit is supported by a roster of national corporate, healthcare and community partners, with Novartis serving as Title Sponsor. Additional sponsors include Lilly, Genentech, Gilead/Kite, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Eisai, Stemline/Menarini Group, Merck, Olema Oncology, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, H-E-B and Black Girl Vitamins, along with media partners Bayou Beat, d-mars.com and Forward Times.
