Affiliate Chapters
Sisters Network® Inc. addresses the breast health needs of African American women, through its affiliate chapters, and partnerships with existing service providers. Chapters are organized by breast cancer survivors who are committed to establishing the much needed community breast health services.
Provided below is a list of affiliate chapter as of March 2013. If you are interested in becoming a member, contact your local chapter.
How do I start a Chapter?
Initial Requirements for Starting a Chapter:
You must be a breast cancer survivor
E-mail a letter and documents requested below to Chandra M. Brooks Affiliate Relations Manager (cmbrooks@sistersnetworkinc.org).
Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
Your breast cancer story
Why you would like to start a chapter in your area
Resume and Biography (as it relates to breast cancer)
The name, address, contact number and email for the 5 executive committee members and 1 non-survivor who will serve as your Executive Officers.
Upon receipt of this information you will receive a phone call or email from Sisters Network Inc. National Headquarters informing you of the next steps.
