Olanre Akanni is dedicated to building meaningful relationships between Sisters Network Inc. and the local community. As a young African-American woman, she is passionate about inclusive programs and community-driven change.
As a proud graduate of Texas Southern University with a degree in Biology and over six years of experience in management and administrative assistance, she brings both passion and expertise to the work of advancing health equity. She leads outreach initiatives that expand access to vital resources, encourage early detection, and address the root causes of health disparities. By building strong partnerships with local leaders, healthcare professionals, and volunteers, she helps ensure that every individual touched by breast cancer feels seen, supported, and empowered.
