Dr. Tanya Washington Moseley is a Professor of Breast Imaging and Breast Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In addition to her Medical Doctorate, Dr. Moseley is also an author, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) expert and thought leader, project management professional, physician breast patient navigator, manager of quality and organizational excellence, and a candidate for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Healthcare Management and Leadership. A distinguished educator, Dr. Moseley has lectured in 6 of the 7 continents.
Dr. Moseley has been on the faculty at MD Anderson for more than twenty years and has served the institution in many capacities. Most recently, she was the Medical Director of the Julie and Ben Rogers Breast Imaging Center from 2018 to August 2021.
Dr. Moseley is a member of many professional organizations, including the American College of Radiology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society for Human Resource Management, American College of Radiology, Radiology Business Management Association, Radiological Society of North America, European Society of Radiology, Texas Radiological Society, National Medical Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Society of Breast Imaging, of which she is a fellow.
Dr. Moseley has been a longtime supporter of Sisters Network® Inc. She previously served as a member of the SNI Medical Advisory Board and most recently was a featured presenter during Sisters Network® Inc. The State of the Black Breast Cancer Crisis, A National Town Hall & Call to Action. She feels honored to serve on the National Board of Directors of Sisters Network® Inc.
