About the Artist - Bettie Kimbro Eubanks
Imagine paintings creating images and moods through the skillful use of passionate colors and textures. Imagine, being taken on a voyage that reflect the experiences of a woman sensitive to human issues of life while also reflecting an sharing a sense of mission and purpose.

Image the unique artistry of Atlanta-based artist, Bettie Kimbro Eubanks. Through her paintings, Ms. Eubanks achieves her goal to move the art to create their own emotional awareness. She incorporates her signature use of soft colors providing her work a natural flow that journeys the eye to the core of the subjects while also demonstrating the discipline only a seasoned artist can achieve.

Ms. Eubanks' current series of paintings depict women as friends, communicating and sharing. "Art is important because of its unique ability to deliver an awakening...a jump-start for our thoughts and feelings...and then to steal the heart and bring joy to the soul simultaneously. The paintings are my personal response to the sisterhood of women," says Eubanks.

For her work, Ms. Eubanks uses live models, photographs from her travels, and the joyous experiences from life.

Throughout her lifetime, Ms. Eubanks has received numerous awards and recognition as a painter. Her early artist talents were rewarded with acceptance into a program for gifted young artists. Over the years, Eubanks' work has been exhibited in the Northern and Southeastern regions of the United States. Committed to public service, Ms. Eubanks created the Urban/Youth Can Paint Series. Ms. Eubanks received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Jersey State University and is a graduate of the Newark School of Fine Arts.
