In 2006, Sisters Network Inc., formed the nation’s first National Coalition with key medical and African American civic organizations including Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, The Links Inc., Jack and Jill of America, The Top Ladies of Distinction, The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Association of Black
Cardiologists, International Black Women’s Congress and the Oncology Nursing Society.

The newly formed alliance establishes “one voice” and supports Sisters‚ mission to broaden its outreach
efforts to maximize the spotlight on the African American woman’s fight against breast cancer.
